First Swim

Patrick, Mom and Dad went to the pool this afternoon. Patrick thoroughly enjoyed himself. Swim lessons start in a couple of months!

Hold Your Head Up

Patrick is beginning to hold his head up! Tummy Time workouts no longer elicit cries of torturous mistreatment like they once did--we just crank up the Argent and get down to business!

Uncle John and Dad began painting Patrick's room last weekend! We went with two shades of blue...as per Mom's instructions. We'll post more photos when the project is complete. And maybe, just maybe, Mom will let Patrick leave our room and move to his sometime before his 6th birthday!

Four Month Check Up

Wow! Patrick's four month check-up went smoothly...except for the four immunizations! The shots are no fun, to be sure. He weighed in at 14 pounds and 12 ounces, while he measured in at 25 inches long. For some reason, Patrick was under the assumption that it was Dad who gave him the shots! He glared at me afterwards, giving me the classic go-to-hell-look, even as it was I who was holding his hands throughout the traumatic ordeal! All was well when Mom took him in her arms to comfort him...go figure.

Four Months Old

Today marks Patrick's fourth month on the planet. We celebrated with cake and white wine...an absolutely lethal combination. Here are some great pics to commemorate the occasion.

Chicago Trip Photos

Patrick's first real road trip was a smashing success! He acted as if he had flown for years--calm, cool and collected. Kadi and John were super hosts! We all had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return! Here are some photos from the trip.
